Salon Operations Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about services offered.
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations through phone calls and in-person interactions.
• Handle retail sales transactions, including processing payments and managing stock levels of products.
• Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and inviting for clients.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Assist in supervising staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and sales reporting.
• Promote salon services and products effectively to enhance sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or salon environment.
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with supervising or leading teams is a plus.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn about salon services and products.
• Social media marketing, emails and displays
