Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Buss tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Assist with any guest inquiries or special requests to enhance their experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions is beneficial.
- Ability to upsell menu items and promote specials effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
