The Security Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to enhance safety measures across the organization.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and respond to security breaches or suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during incidents or emergencies, ensuring effective communication and response.
- Train staff on security protocols, conflict management techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Manage loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure asset protection.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security activities for reporting purposes.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as required during emergencies.
Requirements
- Certification in security management or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications
- Required:

- Ability to work independently, with a sense of responsibility and reliability.

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Preferred:

- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and youth development principles.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol HALO premises during the overnight shift.
- Ability to lift or move light to moderate objects as needed.
- Ability to respond to emergencies quickly, including assisting in the safe evacuation of residents if necessary.
