Fast growing and busy independent Retail Insurance agency in the Conejo Valley is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Executive to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients, producers and company personnel in a professional and positive manner. Agency offers team atmosphere, supportive management and career path.
This position requires in-depth knowledge of insurance markets, products, and underwriting.
Responsibilities:
· Handle all tasks associated with obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing existing accounts in accordance with all agency procedures and carrier guidelines.
· Manage a group of existing accounts and assist with reviewing and processing renewals and new accounts.
· Work with customers and insurance company to arrange premium payments, answer questions, and explain changes.
· Analyzing complex client policy profiles to identify account-rounding or coverage enhancement opportunities; analyzing carrier quotes and coverages to determine the best options for the client.
· Manage the execution of all aspects of client renewal process including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation of renewal numbers to the Producer and the client where applicable and invoicing
· Ensure transactions are accurately entered in the agency management system to generate billing documentation.
· Presenting products to new and existing customers by collaborating in renewal strategies and preparing proposals.
· Prepare rate quotes, assemble coverage summaries and proposals, and monitor the status of claims reports.
· Ordering, issuing, and verifying insurance forms and items (including policies, endorsements, certificates, and binders).
· Tracking invoices for accuracy; preparing insurance summaries.
· Reviewing accuracy and corrections of policies
· Staying up to date on all aspects of insurance policies.
Qualifications:
· California License (Property & Casualty) REQUIRED
· 5 years of experience in the Commercial Insurance field
· Insurance professional designations, such as CISR, ACSR, CIC, CRM are a plus
· Organization skills and the ability to multitask
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
