What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Excellence Process Analyst position at The Hanover Insurance Group?

Our Process Center of Excellence team is currently seeking a Process Analyst as either a hybrid role at our Howell, MI or Worcester, MA location or as a remote position for those at other locations. This is a full time, exempt role.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Process Analyst is responsible for, with support from manager or senior team members, evaluating business processes, determining requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions to meet business goals. The Process Analyst will leverage process methodology and best practices to streamline workflows across the organization. In addition to process design work, the Process Analyst will be responsible for creating project plans, facilitating working sessions with cross functional teams, providing status updates and serving as a liaison between the project team, stakeholders and users. This role will primarily be focused on smaller to medium scope projects and supporting more complex business projects.

- Applies process methodology, such as lean and six sigma, to implement process improvements and achieve business goals.
- Synthesizes information gathered during working sessions to identify process opportunities
- Documents current state and any changes to processes and / or operating model
- Coordinates, develops materials for, leads, and actively participates in meetings or working sessions
- Manages projects, develops project plans, monitors deliverables and ensures timely completion of projects
- Identifies and appropriately escalates potential risks, obstacles or dependencies.
- Provides management with updates on project status and key objectives.
- Effectively communicates insights and plans to team members and management.
- Four-year degree
- 0 – 3 years of experience
- Possesses some knowledge of process and project management methodology
- Analytical problem solver
- Strong communicator and collaborator
