Our Risk Solutions team is currently seeking a Trainee in our Southeast Region, specifically North Carolina and Georgia. This is a full time, exempt role. Position is eligible for a fully remote arrangement.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Entry level position within Risk Solutions. Through a structured program this person will obtain the fundamental knowledge and skills required to launch a career in Risk Solutions. With the successful completion of the learning and development objectives the trainee will begin handling small commercial and lower hazard middle market accounts with a high degree of coaching and supervision.

- Successful completion of learning and development objectives as defined by the Trainee Program curriculum.
- Develop an understanding of how own role fits into the overall business.
- Gain an understanding of Risk Solutions systems, best practices, tools, and resources.
- Demonstrate ability to apply learnings with sensible judgement in daily operations.
- Can conduct surveys on small commercial and lower hazard middle market accounts and write reports for underwriting.
- Perform basic loss analysis.
- Create and follow up on essential recommendations.
- Completion of trainee curriculum

- B.S. degree or equivalent work experience preferred in a related field to include health and safety, science, engineering, or risk management.

- Strong to exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Strong to exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
