Nurse Manager Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee our Memory Care home and ensure the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Long Term Care and Memory Care. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage a diverse team, good communication skills, ability to practice hospitality and customer service and a passion and commitment to providing quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Caregivers and Medication aides to ensure adherence to established standards of care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient care quality.
• Manage Staff and the operations of the Home.
• Conduct regular assessments of patient needs, including triage and family planning services.
• Collaborate with other Home Managers and Administrators to provide quality care in a safe and nurturing environment filled with activities and assistance with ADL's.
• Ensure compliance with State and healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
• Promote a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• LPN required. Management experience preferred.
• Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles.
• Hard worker, task oriented and have a heart for Seniors.
• Driven with the abililty to learn quickly, and desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of current healthcare trends and standards of practice.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
