At Bioionix, we are an industry leader in the electrochemical field for food safety and water disinfection. While this entails maintaining the food safety of products such as cheese, meat, and seafood, it also depends on the maintenance and service of Bioionix equipment.
Bioionix a Fitchburg, Wisconsin based company, is seeking to fill a Field Service Technician role. As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for customer relations and service of the disinfection equipment. This includes customer relations, product installation, standard maintenance service, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and/or assisting in product improvements. Technician(s) must be hardworking and resourceful to support Bioionix customers in the field and from the office. It is important that technician(s) be comfortable with supporting customers remotely and traveling on-site as necessary.
As a Field Service Technician, you will also be responsible for the assembly of the disinfection equipment within our warehouse. This will include understanding drawings, wiring diagrams and the flow of build assemblies. Technicians must be able to complete tasks within a timely manner to meet shipping deadlines.
Minimum qualifications include a technical college degree, or comparable experience, in electronics, or industrial maintenance. Key requirements include:
- Knowledge of modifying/troubleshooting PLC Software e.g. RsLogix, Siemens, etc.,
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience and/or background in automation equipment and software.
- Able to maintain a professional working relationship with client partners to maintain the good image and reputation of the company.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain it and could travel up to 50% of the time both nationally and internationally.
- Able to lift 75 lbs and climb a ladder.
- A strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship and customer relations are also necessary.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications, with benefits which include health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, travel time and expense reimbursement, and 401k with available match.
