The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a Crisis Line Data Specialist to embark on a rewarding healthcare career! The Harris Center Crisis Line is dedicated to serving people experiencing a mental health or intellectual/developmental disability crisis in our community 24/7/365. The Harris Center Crisis Line is accredited by the American Association of Suicidology and CARF and partners with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The Data Management Coordinator is responsible for running reports as needed. This position is also responsible for assisting with maintaining and updating all Crisis Line Resources.

Your Role In Action
- Runs Daily Reports and reviews call documentation daily for monthly reports – Partnership Lines, Encounter Reviews
- Runs Monthly Reports for Partners, Encounter, Harris County and 988 Lifeline
- Maintains confidentiality about all documentation reviewed as well as the performance of the Crisis Line Counselors
- Assists with identifying needed updates to documentation system in the Crisis Line.
- Assists with identifying needs for new Crisis Line Operational Guidelines as well as updates related to documentation and reports.
- Maintains and Updates Crisis Line Resource System
- Adheres to the Standards of Behaviors and all Agency Policies and Procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned
What qualifications will you need:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1 year general office experience. Crisis Line experience preferred.
- The person must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and be a team player with a desire to provide a high level of customer service.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills and interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of all work-related matters with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully within all levels of the agency.
- Must have strong computer skills (intermediate or advanced) including use and maintenance of electronic mail, Microsoft Office – especially Excel, and specific information systems.
- Proficient with typing and requires excellent organizational and time management skills.
