The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for Pharmacy Business Analyst to join our team! The Pharmacy Business Analyst is responsible for recommending strategies to optimize pharmacy business operations in alignment with organizational objectives. This role contributes to strategic planning by analyzing market trends, pharmacy service utilization, and identifying opportunities for process, product, and service improvements across pharmacy programs, including Class A and Class C pharmacies. The role applies data analysis, project management methodologies, and industry best practices to develop, implement, and monitor operational performance and compliance initiatives. This position supports pharmacy budgeting, manages contract relationships, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains performance metrics and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

The Pharmacy Business Analyst is responsible for recommending strategies to optimize pharmacy business operations in alignment with organizational objectives. This role contributes to strategic planning by analyzing market trends, pharmacy service utilization, and identifying opportunities for process, product, and service improvements across pharmacy programs, including Class A and Class C pharmacies. Your Role In Action
- Drive operational efficiency by analyzing data and recommending process improvements.
- Align pharmacy strategies with agency-wide goals through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Support financial planning, ensure billing accuracy, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and vendor requirements.
- Design and oversee compliance audits and manage rebate and insurance contracts.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to guide operational decisions.
- Maintain documentation, coordinate team meetings, and support inventory and supply chain processes.
- Ensure accurate ordering systems and cost-effective procurement.
What qualifications will you need:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent
- MBA, BS in Healthcare Management preferred
- Pharmacy Operations and/or Pharmacy Technician licensure preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant business and/or healthcare finance experience (including supervisory experience preferred)
- Must have experience working collaboratively with other professional groups in preparing and analyzing reports and making recommendations for operational and administrative purposes.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and clearly document workflows.
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate and learn various systems.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic math functions and demonstrate strong reading and writing comprehension.
- Capable of working independently with sound judgment and initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
