The Hartford's MLC IT Team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven Reliability Engineer to join our team . This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and performance of our systems in cloud environments.
Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent partnership with stakeholders and partner teams, willingness to understand existing processes and systems, solid technical acumen, experience in delivering quality technical solutions and ensure the systems are stable, performant, and secure.
Responsibilities :
- Understand and implement the overall technical vision for projects, programs, or systems, keeping in mind cross-functional impacts, integration across the organization and architecture rationalization.
- Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact schedule and / or budget.
- Collaboration with teams to identify opportunities for integration across tools used in the life cycle, including agile, test automation, platform configuration management, and drive efficiencies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs and consistent with the architectural vision.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of independence but is also a team player.
- Ability to provide concise, transparent communications about potential risks, mitigations, and business impacts in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand technology trade off risks and rewards for the best customer value delivery.
- Takes ownership to drive innovation for effectively leveraging technology to solve the customer problem.
Qualifications :
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from Hartford, CT. Charlotte, NC. Chicago, IL. or Columbus, OH.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is :
60,880 - $135,480
The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
