The Hartford’s Actuarial Strategic Modeling team is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build MLOps and Generative AI services. This role is a Hybrid role that can be located in one of our four office locations (Hartford, CT , Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, or Columbus, OH).

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

- Authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Master’s degree or 5 years of experience.
- Strong in Cloud data warehouses, automation, and data pipelines
- Experience with RESTful APIs, CICD pipelines, Python in cloud environments, big data technologies (AWS/GCP/AZURE)
- Understanding of model development lifecycle and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with AWS tools, SageMaker, Flask, VMs, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile frameworks.
