The Role …
We seek an innovative, enthusiastic, and artistic individual to join our Creative Services Team. In this role, you will produce printer-ready mechanicals, e-commerce graphics, and product mockups. Integral to this role is experience in Production Design and 3D rendering, along with skill and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ office, and has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.
Your Responsibilities …
- Create layouts, package designs and illustrations to meet required specifications
- Create designs that visually communicate desired product packaging messages
- Consult regularly with packaging engineering and marketing on product development
- Create PDFs for print and review
- Create prototype packaging & product mockups as sales tools
- Apply approved design concepts to various product formats (cartons, labels, blister cards, etc.), in a cohesive manner
- Participate in collaborative revision and approval process until final design is approved
- Prepare and prep approved artwork to vendor specifications
- Ensure brand standards across color, font, production quality, etc.
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
- Catalog and reference art for future projects
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise
Requirements
You’ll Need …
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ Production Design experience
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for Mac (Illustrator and Photoshop) and experience with 3D rendering
- Knowledge: In-depth working knowledge of After Effects and video creation a plus
