Overview
The primary job responsibility of the Retail Operations Assistant Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Retail Operations Department and to ensure the Bank is following all applicable State and Federal Regulations regarding the deposit operations functionality as well as compliance.
The Retail Operations Assistant Manager provides support and service for the retail operations related functions of the bank and provides daily oversight of the Retail Operations staff.
Duties
- Management and training of the Retail Operations department.
o Scheduling
o Time off review, approval, tracking
o Assistance in annual performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary action
o Assistance in staff changes
o Participation in Retail (CCR) Meetings
- Oversee timely completion of tasks for the entire group. Report any issues or delays to VP of Operations, Compliance & BSA/AML Officer.
- Actively participates and performs in daily tasks.
- Daily coaching and mentoring of team.
- Keep up to date with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with theVP of Operations, Compliance & BSA/AML Officer as to Bank policies and procedures to ensure they are updated in accordance with regulations, legal requirements, and trends.
- Oversees processes for all electronic funds processes, including incoming and outgoing file transmissions and research
- Oversees Debit Card/ATM Card program maintenance, including overseeing Reg E Disputes and Error Resolution.
- Daily oversight of all exception items (NSF, chargebacks, non-posts, cash letter issues – domestic and international, etc.)
Qualifications
- Three to five years of related retail Deposit Operations and product knowledge; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Reasoning ability.
- High-level knowledge of bank operations.
- High-level written/verbal communication skill, as well as team building skills.
- Familiarity with PC based programs including MS Office Suite.
- Able to communicate effectively to customers and employees.
- Detail oriented.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
