Overview

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Travel Coordinator to help manage and optimize our company’s travel program. This role is responsible for booking travel, securing cost-effective airfare and accommodations, managing travel profiles, and ensuring compliance with vendor contracts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in corporate travel management, is proficient in GDS systems, and is eager to take on a leadership role with a focus on international travel and program expansion. This position is based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Book and manage all travel reservations using the GDS system.
  • Continuously search for optimal airfare, providing cost-effective options.
  • Track and apply unused airline tickets and refunds to corporate travel accounts.
  • Search and secure the best hotel and car rental rates, benchmarking with online prices.
  • Maintain and manage employee travel profiles.
  • Negotiate hotel rates and benchmark ground transportation costs.
  • Collaborate with travel vendors to ensure contract compliance.
  • Audit and reconcile travel invoices, including rental car overcharges.
  • Submit required reports for ARC, corporate travel credit cards, and airline contracts.



Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • 4 years of experience in a Corporate Travel role



Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.

  • Advanced knowledge of corporate travel
  • Work for or with a Certified ARC (Airline Reporting Corp) company
  • Proficient in GDS systems
  • IATAN Travel Professional Certification is a plus

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
