The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell’s delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. Haskell assists with working your way up through the ranks, you’ll find new ways to use both your mind and your hands to get the job done.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate Steel Shipments: Manage the scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments to ensure timely delivery to clients or warehouses.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, track inventory, and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure products are available for shipping.
- Supplier & Vendor Communication: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, shipping carriers, and vendors to negotiate costs and resolve issues.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing slips) and ensure adherence to import/export regulations and company policies.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor logistics performance, prepare reports, and provide insights on cost-saving opportunities or process improvements.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate shipping, freight, and logistics contracts with carriers, suppliers, and third-party providers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
