As a Associate Consultant, your focus will be on learning sales strategies and the sales process in a competitive and very technical environment. This is not a long-term career path, but a 2-4 year development bridge to become an independent, successful insurance consultant.
- Networking : Attend networking and industry events, such as conferences and golf outings, independent and alongside our sales team members. Represent the HG brand and your personal brand well at these events by demonstrating effective communication skills, joining a committee and volunteering, and building out your network of professional COIs.
- Sales Development : Research and identify potential leads and prospects through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry-specific databases. Reach out to potential clients via email, phone calls, and social media to engage the prospect into the sales process.
- Technical Knowledge : We pride ourselves on being a true technical expert in the industry. In this role, your expectation will be to demonstrate a high degree of curiosity to learn insurance, coverage forms and policies. You will also be expected to earn appropriate designations.
