Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Assist in food preparation by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces and equipment.
• Help with bussing tables to ensure a tidy dining area for guests.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods by providing assistance as required.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on dishwashing equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to help others and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
