Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and culinary offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest confidentiality and security.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of guest relations and customer service principles to enhance the dining experience.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
