Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Peer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Outpatient clients, offering support through group facilitation and providing peer support services. Your primary goal is to guide clients toward recovery while equipping them with the tools they need for a successful and independent future. Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5 : 00 pm to 10 : 00 pm.
As part of a dynamic team, you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact on the lives of individuals in recovery, all while growing in your career.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide peer support groups to foster community and accountability
- Assist clients with accessing wraparound services (housing, employment, etc.)
- Maintain organized, thorough documentation
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, contracts, and employment guidelines
- Attend staff and community meetings to stay connected and informed
- Participate in community events to support The Haven’s outreach efforts
- Other duties as needed to support the team and clients
