Are you ready to inspire change and lead a movement for equity and opportunity? The Knoxville Area Urban League (KAUL) seeks a passionate, results-driven leader to serve as its next President & CEO . As an affiliate of the National Urban League, KAUL is a powerful advocate for economic empowerment, educational advancement, and social justice for Knoxville’s most underserved communities.
As CEO, you will be the driving force behind the organization’s strategy, operations, and partnerships. This role requires a bold leader to champion KAUL’s mission of fostering strong, sustainable communities. You’ll oversee program development, strategic planning, community engagement, and fiscal management — all while serving as a leading voice for change.
This role calls for an inspiring executive with experience in nonprofit leadership, advocacy, fundraising, and board engagement. We seek someone with the ability to forge cross-sector partnerships and lead a team of dedicated professionals.

Minimum Qualifications :
The successful applicant must hold a bachelor's degree (master’s degree preferred) in business administration, social work, public administration or finance. Other disciplines may be considered based on experience and a proven history of leadership and management in community-based organizations, government entities and / or educational institutions. Candidates must have five (5) years of senior leadership and / or management experience.
