MEDICINARY MANAGER
Role Overview:
As the Medicinary Manager & Herbalist/Acupuncturist, you will oversee the operations of our medicinal herb dispensary while also providing expert guidance on herbal formulations, acupuncture, and natural treatments. You’ll combine your knowledge of Chinese single herbs, classical formulas, and Western supplements to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality herbal care. You will also play a key role in the management of our product inventory, collaborating with our practitioners to optimize patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Medicinary Management:
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of our medicinal herb dispensary, ensuring that all herbs, formulas, and supplements are stocked, organized, and readily available.
Manage inventory, order and track supplies, and ensure the clinic is always fully stocked with quality products.
-Work closely with practitioners to ensure the right products are being utilized and recommend adjustments as needed based on patient treatment plans.
-Herbal Formulation & Acupuncture Expertise:
Apply your deep knowledge of Chinese single herbs, classical formulas, and herbal treatment protocols to help guide and customize patient care.
-Provide guidance and support to patients in selecting the appropriate herbal supplements from our Classical Pearls line and Standard Process products, based on their unique health needs.
-Offer professional consultation on the integration of Western herbal supplements and other natural health solutions into treatment plans.
Collaboration with Practitioners:
-Collaborate with our team of acupuncturists, herbalists, and other holistic practitioners to ensure cohesive and comprehensive treatment plans.
-Provide staff training and mentorship on herbal formulations, usage, and any new products or updates in our medicinal offerings.
Patient Care & Education:
-Work directly with patients to provide detailed explanations of herbal formulas, recommended supplements, and the benefits of acupuncture.
-Educate patients on the proper use and dosage of herbal products, both in-office and during follow-up consultations.
Qualifications:
-Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with a deep knowledge of Chinese medicine and treatment protocols.
-Herbalist Expertise: Proficient in Chinese single herbs and classical formulas, with experience in Standard Process and Classical Pearls product lines.
-Strong understanding of both Classical Chinese Medicine and Western herbal supplements.
-Previous experience managing a medicinary, herb dispensary, or working with an herbal product inventory is a plus.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with both practitioners and patients.
