Job Summary :
The Unit Manager will oversee the daily operations of a designated unit within our long-term care facility. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, managing staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage the nursing and support staff on the assigned unit.
- Ensure that all resident care is provided in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Develop and implement care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing education and professional development.
- Address and resolve any resident or family concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous enhancement of care services.
