Career Opportunity - LPN Opening with The HealthCare Connection in Cincinnati, OH (Lincoln Heights)
Founded in 1967, we were Ohio’s first community health center. Also known as The HealthCare Connection, our mission is the same today as it was when we first opened for operation over 50 years ago. We are a leader in providing affordable, quality healthcare to medically underserved, underinsured, and uninsured persons living in northern Hamilton County.
This full-time LPN role requires a unique balance of compassion, knowledge and customer service. Duties include assisting Providers with direct patient care, interviewing the patient, recording pertinent information into electronic health records, conducting requested screening/tests, responding to telephone inquiries, maintaining equipment and supplies in exam rooms and office, and coordinating referrals for patients.
Must have active CPR certification and be a graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program with a current Ohio license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Strongly prefer at least one year of experience in community health nursing setting, hospital or private physician practice.
