Duties
- Supervise and manage nursing staff across various departments, including home care and nursing home settings.
- Oversee shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient patient care delivery.
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure compliance with medical records standards and Medicare regulations.
- Lead nursing administration efforts, including policy development, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate acute care services, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate medical attention.
- Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering professional development and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements within the nursing department.
- 0wnership of the Wound Care program(Certified preferred)
- Any other duties that apply
Requirements
- Current registered nurse (RN) preferred or LPN license in good standing for the state of Kansas.
- Proven experience in supervising nursing staff in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of home care, nursing home operations, acute care practices, and Medicare regulations.
- Excellent documentation review skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability in nursing administration and effective shift management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
