What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hearing Instrument Specialist position at The Hearing Aid Doctor?
Looking for a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, also known as a Hearing Aid Specialist.
Preferably licensed in the state of Minnesota. If not, the company is willing to assist in the pursuit of obtaining the MN state license.
Primary responsibilities include:
Conducting and interpreting hearing tests to assess a client's hearing capabilities
Selecting, fitting, and programming appropriate hearing aids for customers based on their specific needs and preferences
Taking ear impressions and preparing, designing, and modifying ear molds for custom-fit hearing devices
Training clients on how to use and maintain their hearing aids or other assistive listening devices.
Counseling patients and their families on communication strategies and the effects of hearing loss
Assessing the efficacy of hearing instruments and making necessary adjustments
Providing ongoing support and maintenance for hearing aids, including repairs and adjustments.

Pay: $30.65 - $33.44 per hour
