Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with disabilities, particularly children. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior intervention strategies to enhance the quality of life for our clients and help them reach their fullest potential.

Job Description

The Heart of Behavior BCBA, primary function is to plan, develop, and monitor services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills to meet the needs of assigned clients both center and home based. As well as support and supervise the treatment team (BTs, RBTs, parents, caregivers, etc.)

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned caseload
  • Initial and ongoing assessment of clients
  • Program creation and development
  • Creation of data sheets
  • Updates to targets and materials
  • Monitor programs and review data
  • Treatment Documentation
  • Creation and updates of Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs)
  • Creation and updates of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Work with Treatment Director to make sure required documents needed for authorization are prepared
  • Make sure ITPs, assessments and graphs are updated and complete in time for re-authorizations.
  • Effective and ethical supervision
  • 20 to 25 hours of BCBA billable hours per week including:
  • RBT supervision/program supervision based on BACB standards and insurance requirements
  • Regular parent meetings / training
  • Assessments and authorizations
  • RBT/BT Management
  • Oversee training of BTs/RBTs
  • Attend and occasionally lead treatment meetings
  • Attend and occasionally lead weekly team meetings
  • Work with Clinic Director on “hands-on” interviews with BTs and RBTs
  • Conduct quarterly and annual RBT reviews
  • Other duties as needed

  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to work in a busy environment with constant interruptions
  • Understands “best practice” in therapeutic practices, policies and procedures.
  • Able to effectively practice the Code of Ethics from the BACB.
  • Ability to receive and deliver constructive feedback, and demonstrate effective therapy.
  • Knowledge and comfort in working in a therapeutic setting with patients who may have behavioral, social and communicative difficulties.
  • Ability to take perspective of patients, team members, and families
  • Ability to effectively implement therapy
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality

Required Education and Experience

  • A Master’s degree ideally in a field related to ABA / Autism intervention.
  • Is credentialed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice. (I.e. Texas license)
  • Experience working with children with Autism spectrum Disorder.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet most the day keeping up with the activities of a child (e.g. Jumping on trampolines, running, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year

Salary : $70,000 - $78,000
