Job Description
The Renovations worker provides The Hearthstone with skilled labor in renovating the Hearthstone apartments and public areas as supervised by the Project Manager.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, all types of carpentry experience, and experience with power tools, sheet rock, mud, plumbing, and electrical.

Essential Functions Statements
- To make sure the daily department workload gets completed every day in a high quality and efficient manor.
- To install crown molding and door moldings vacant apartments.
- To install kitchen units in vacant apartments.
- To do extensive wall repair in vacant apartments, including framing and sheet rock installation.
- To install walk in showers in vacant and occupied apartments.
- To renovate closets and install new closet shelves, drawers, fixtures and rods.
- Replace light fixtures in vacant rooms as needed.
- Replace bathroom fixtures in vacant apartments.
- To complete an extensive apartment turn over check list to make sure to rooms is turned over in excellent condition.
- To perform any manual work tasks or office tasks requested by the Renovations Project Manager & Director of Facilities.
- To communicate well with residents and all employees.
- Attends all assigned meetings and expanded team meetings.
- Reports all safety problems and facility equipment damage to the proper source.
- Wires closets and kitchen units as needed .
