Hemp/Cannabis Educator - Dispensary Sales

The Hemp Farmacy is the leader in the NC Cannabis industry, and a trusted local brand with multiple dispensary locations and a strong e-commerce presence. The Wilmington / Jacksonville Hemp Farmacy locations are looking to hire motivated customer service oriented dispensary cannabis educators / sales staff.

The Hemp Farmacy is a leader in promoting cannabis through education, and having a no pressure sales approach. General Wellness is promoted to the customer, and the sales staff educates customers on how cannabis products may be integrated into that wellness plan or lifestyle choice.

Experience in retail and or customer service is preferred. Candidates must represent Wellness and demonstrate healthy life choices. The Hemp Farmacy is willing to train individuals about cannabinoids and the benefits of Cannabis, however we can not train you in sales and customer service in addition to Cannabis. All applicants need to have a positive outlook and pleasant personality, and be willing to have engaged conversations with all demographics of customers with varied medial needs. You must demonstrate compassion and empathy when working with customers who have extensive medical issues they want to discuss with you when being educated about what product may be a good fit.

The Hemp Farmacy is a medium sized business that continues to help train young professionals who then go to achieve success in larger companies. Unlike a small business with a single location we offer areas to focus on to gain additional responsibilities as well as additional compensation as you grow as an individual in the organization.

You will learn how to educate individuals on hemp, CBD, & a wide variety of products and services in the wellness field. You will be required to maintain excellent standards for customer service. And you will help complete customer transactions in the retail wellness space.

Duties and responsibilities

• Complete Education and Training on Hemp Farmacy Products
• Offer consultation of products to customers and answer related questions
• Use POS to compute sales prices, offer loyalty points, and offer discounts
• Maintain a clean, safe, friendly store environment
• Complete bi-monthly Continuing Education Research
• Promote in-store sales and events
• Educate customers on wellness-related services offered by The Hemp Farmacy.

Qualifications

• Full understanding of hemp products, industry, and applicable laws
• Proficiency in POS, online inventory software, and willingness to learn new technology
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of store operations, and maintaining standards
• Enthusiasm for collaboration and working in a team
• Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include early morning, evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Proper telephone etiquette
• Adhere to all dress-code requirements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
