We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Budtenders to join the
Hempies team! As a Budtender, you will be the face of our company, guiding customers through their
experience with our products and ensuring they leave with the best possible solution for their
needs. Your role is to provide exceptional service, build relationships with our customers, and
educate them about our hemp-derived products, including gummies, flower, vapes, tinctures, and
more.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Educate customers on the various hemp products we offer, including their benefits, effects, and usage. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including new strains, product lines, and promotions. Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system. Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding hemp product sales. Participate in inventory management, stocking shelves, product displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Occasionally drive between locations or to deliver products. (we provide the delivery vehicle) Follow and encourage others to follow the vision and values of Hempies. Multitask quickly and thoroughly, while being adaptable, dependable, and having a strong work ethic. Communicate effectively with guests and team members. Adhere to Hempies rules and dress code at all times. Other duties as assigned based on the stores needs. Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older. Prior experience in retail, customer service, or the cannabis / hemp industry is a plus but not required. Consistency and reliability Cheerful and positive attitude with a passion for serving and helping others. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Must have reliable transportation.
