The Hering Homes Team of Coldwell Banker is one of the most successful real estate teams in the north suburbs. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Transaction Coordinator with a positive, can-do attitude to support our dynamic team. As a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions from contract to closing. Your ability to multitask, stay organized, and provide exceptional customer service will be essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management – Serve as the team leader’s right-hand person, handling all aspects of real estate transactions from contract to close.
- Documentation & Compliance – Prepare and process listing documents using relevant real estate software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Client & Partner Communication – Interact with brokers, attorneys, lenders, clients, and team members to facilitate a seamless transaction experience.
- Deadline & Task Tracking – Utilize real estate CRM and task management software to monitor deadlines and ensure all steps are completed on time.
- Office & Field Support – While primarily office-based, responsibilities will include occasional tasks outside the office such as delivering brochures, keys, lockboxes, etc.
Qualifications:
- Real estate experience strongly preferred (transaction coordination, administrative support, or related experience).
- Proficient in technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and transaction management software.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills (written, phone, and in-person) with a strong focus on customer service.
- Dependable, flexible, and proactive, dedicated to supporting a high-performing team.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and a valid driver’s license required.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Hours: 30-37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: From $20.00 per hour
- Location: In-office (not a remote position). Grayslake, IL
