The Heritage of Hannah Neil Residential (HHN) is hiring for a Recreation Specialist. At The Heritage of Hannah Neil Residential we treat children with trauma induced behavioral health issues. We work to untangle the damage trauma leaves behind, and replace it with practical coping strategies and a newfound sense of empowerment. The Recreation Specialist assists in planning, coordinating, and conducting activities and recreational groups. The Recreation Specialist will be responsible for overseeing activities for the kids at the Heritage of Hannah Neil Residential. This person is responsible for ensuring a variety of activities are conducted to meet all the needs of the program, including but not limited to the following: exercise, games, craft/art activities, music, outdoor activities, and other activities.
Upon training completion the work schedule for this position is normally 10 am- 6PM with work on the weekends being required. This position does require a Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology, social services, or a related field.

The Recreation Specialist will write timely accurate individual and group notes that meet all billing and clinical requirements.
The Recreation Specialist will serve in the capacity of a residential specialist when not coordinating or performing recreation related tasks. This role focuses on care of the residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience working with children preferred
