Job Summary
Hi friends! This job is available for either part-time or full-time; we are open five days a week (closed Sunday & Wednesday to begin). We will offer staff meal at 2:30pm cst. If you elect to not enjoy staff meal you must arrive at 3pm for a 4pm opening. We will only be open for dinner during the winter season. We will provide your aprons, the attire is business casual all black clothes. Non-slip shoes are required!
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by providing excellent service, crafting delicious drinks, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to all patrons, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register; manage cash handling with precision.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure seamless service during events or banquets.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, food safety regulations, and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective cash handling is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service is essential.
