Food Runner/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain a smooth flow of service while upholding our standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Assist in setting up dining areas, including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
• Support food preparation activities as needed, including assisting cooks with plating and garnishing dishes.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards during all stages of service.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and assisting with any needs they may have.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction and streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and an understanding of food safety practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in bussing or similar roles within the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and eagerness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
