Title: Project Manager
Summary:
The Project Lead – will manage multiple small and medium sized projects within the Information Services Supply Chain Portfolio throughout the entire project lifecycle – planning though execution through closure.
The Project Lead will be responsible for fulfilling core project management duties throughout the entire project lifecycle. These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Stakeholder management
- Resource estimation and allocation
- Schedule development, monitoring, and execution
- Budget planning, monitoring, and execution
- Quality management including test, risk and issue management
- Change management
The Project Lead will be an active member of Hershey’s Information Services Project Management Office (ISPMO) and will support continuous improvement of the ISPMO processes.

- Lead Information Services Supply Chain related projects through the entire project lifecycle consistent with Hershey ISPMO processes.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and with desired outcomes. Lead project teams of varying sizes and composition, which will include internal Hershey and external resources, and could span various technical or functional areas.

- Ensure compliance with Hershey ISPMO endorsed methodologies and other Hershey processes (e.g. Corporate Finance).
- Support continuous improvement of ISPMO processes to drive maturity.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders within The Hershey Company, both internal and external to Information Services.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, etc. required:
- Demonstrated successful delivery of small and medium-sized projects.
- Strong grasp of project management methodology as recognized by PMI, including waterfall and hybrid program/project mgmt.
- Strong relationship skills and communication skills and ability to manage senior leadership as well as managing small-medium teams without formal authority, leading by influence, and negotiating with vendors and other leadership.
- Strong organizational skills to define the correct tasks, identify interdependencies and assemble the right team to execute project schedules with efficiency and excellence.
- Have experience with project and portfolio management tools (e.g. Clarity, Microsoft Project, etc.)
Minimum Education/Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business/technical field OR equivelent work experience.
Experience:
3-5 years in project management space
Management of project budgets between $10K and $500K
PMI - CAPM Certification preferred.
