- Will increase to $22.28/hr once certifications are obtained

Shifts:
- We require that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and some holidays.
- Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs. Once your training period begins, you will be assigned to a shift and/or schedule based on current plant need. You will be eligible to bid on other schedules, shifts and jobs.
- Openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift.
- Regular schedule is 8-hours. Mandatory overtime could be weekly, daily (additional 4 hours on your 8-hour shift) and weekends (8 to 12-hour shifts).

Job Description:
The Hershey Company Memphis plant is a Non-Union plant producing products such as Ice Breakers, Breath Savers, and Good & Plenty, in a high-speed complex environment. This position is responsible for all sanitation aspects of the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to operate a forklift, man lift, and genie boom lift
- Must maintain the cleaning, inspection, and general maintenance checks on all scrubbers
- Must be able to learn the infrastructure-related cleaning procedures throughout the facility.
- Must be able apply detail cleaning procedures throughout the plant
- Must be able to learn and adhere to the Facility’s Waste Management Program
- Must be able to learn and adhere to the facility’s GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HAZCOMM (Chemical Safety) requirements
- Must have the ability to work as a team player and have strong communication skills
- Must ensure your area meets the housekeeping standards throughout your shift
- Must be flexible to do any job that is assigned and participate in departmental meetings as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a high school diploma/GED
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
- Must be flexible to work any shift during a 24-hour period (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and any variation of shift length (8 hours or 12 hours)
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have the ability to understand and perform basic mathematics
- Must possess basic computer knowledge with ability to find and enter information
- Must be able to regularly stand and walk; and occasionally sit, bend at waist, turn, climb ladders and work from heights up to 30ft
