Sr Analyst Digital Systems

Summary:

This position for the Annville Fulfillment Center in Annville, PA.

The Digital Systems Specialist will provide technical support at the plant level, acting as first responder to IS/OT issues relating to digitally-integrated technologies at the Annville Fulfillment Center.

The Digital Systems Specialist will act as liaison between the plant, Corporate IS functions, and Engineers to implement, test, and support IoT platforms and products. The Digital Systems Specialist will coordinate support for endpoint devices (e.g., PCs, telephones, servers, mobile devices, IoT devices, etc.) with Corporate IS/OT support professionals.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting innovative solutions, collaborating with business partners across functions, and delivering within a change management process.

In addition, the Sr. Analyst, Digital Systems, will troubleshoot SCADA systems, automation software, and MES/MOM applications, execute SQL queries, and provide hardware and software support for Windows PCs, printers, virtual servers, network equipment, time clocks, barcode systems, phone systems, and paging systems. Additional responsibilities for the role are:

• OT systems management and maintenance: Support, deploy, and test automation controls systems (SCADA, PLCs, HMI, etc.) within a fulfillment center environment
• IS Systems Management and Maintenance: Provide on-site monitoring and support for all IS infrastructure technology and components.
• End-user support: Primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues with applicable software and/or hardware, including diagnosing problems and coordinating with the corporate IS Helpdesk for resolution.
• Windows desktop/laptop installation and maintenance
• Support Corporate IS/OT projects and upgrades
• Disaster recovery
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Base experience in the implementation of automation solutions and integration with machine control systems and MES platforms. (Digital OT)
• Control system components and architecture, which include PLCs, Ethernet, Kepware OPC, Microsoft Networking (TCP/IP), HMI/SCADA systems, and other state-of-the-art control components and systems.
• Securing systems that run ICS-related communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, OPC, MQTT, MODBUS, etc.).
• Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform
• MES/MOM/TrakSYS
• Some knowledge in the following: (IS/Systems)
• Linux and/or Windows/PowerShell
• Virtualization platforms
• SQL. Running SQL queries in a Microsoft SQL environment.
• Desktop setup and management of HMIs
• Systems data integration and communications techniques
• Programming Languages & Scripting, Python desired
• EDI and IDOC transactions
• ERP, WMS, interface requirements, and connectivity
• Python, Java – JavaScript, JSON, XML, or similar interpreted languages
• SAP ERP, Blue Yonder WMS, or other supply chain applications
• The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, and dynamically prioritize work based on business needs.
  
  

Minimum Requirements and Education:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in computer end user support, application development, SCADA, Ignition/SCADA, or IIoT manufacturing systems support
