Summary :
The Sr Controls Engineer or Controls Engineer (depending of experience) will support medium complexity projects, with opportunities to develop technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. For senior-level candidates, this role involves leading projects with minimal direction and leveraging strong technical expertise. The candidate must effectively communicate technical subjects, both written and verbally, across all organizational levels and influence stakeholders to provide engineering solutions.
In addition, this position will :
- Develop and assess state-of-the-art control systems for manufacturing facilities.
- Select, design, install, and commission control systems and automated equipment for capital projects, ensuring budget, schedule, and scope compliance.
- Manage small capital projects, including cost, schedule, and resources.
- Solve problems using experience, research, and critical thinking.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in manufacturing automation systems and components.
- Understand Hershey processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with multifunctional team members and Hershey management.
- For junior engineers, this role offers opportunities to develop these skills under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
