About The Role
As the Regional Performance Director, you will oversee multiple dealerships within a designated geographic region, ensuring performance and profitability. This is a hands-on, interactive leadership position that requires a people-centric approach. You will work closely with General Managers to drive results and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and hold dealerships accountable to Hertrich's Seven Core Processes: Employment Journey, Customer Life Cycle, Automobile Sales Process, Service and Parts Sales Process, Inventory Management, Daily Rhythm Meetings, and Month-End Reviews.
- Collaborate with OEM partners and provide regular updates to the Executive Vice President and Leadership Team.
- Foster positive relationships across departments and ensure alignment with company mission and principles.
- Conduct root cause analysis and ensure dealership policies and procedures are followed and improved.
- Drive excellence in customer satisfaction (CSI), sales effectiveness, profitability, and inventory management across the region.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop top-performing dealership management staff.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to General Managers to exceed regional performance standards.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple dealership operations.
- Proven success in driving dealership profitability, CSI, inventory turnover, and people development.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to attract, develop, and advance high-performing management teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet, and dealership software.
