Job Title: Cultivation Technician
Location: Ronan, Montana
Pay: $16.50/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Cultivation Technician to join our team in Ronan, Montana. This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our greenhouse, ensuring the health and quality of our plants from propagation to harvest. The ideal candidate has a passion for plant care, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor plant health, including checking for pests or diseases.
- Perform plant manicuring, pruning, and trimming as needed.
- Assist with harvesting, drying, and processing plants to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and stored.
- Complete record-keeping tasks related to plant care and growth cycles.
- Follow all company and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding plant conditions, tasks, and any concerns.
- Assist with general maintenance and small handyman tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in plant cultivation, greenhouse work, or agriculture is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and working in warm greenhouse conditions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing cultivation methods and industry standards.
