KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Responsible for managing the daily activities for production edibles.
- Cooking and preparing edibles until increased staff is needed/hired.
- Provides leadership in the kitchen.
- Working under the guidance of the Production Manager, maintain and implement standard operating procedures for all products and techniques developed.
- Ensure product meets all requirements for compliance, stability, and safety.
- Work collaboratively with the corporate development team to create innovative formulations that meet both client and company guidelines for effectiveness, cost and stability. Must be able to take formulations from small scale to larger production scale.
- Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the company’s recipe, preparation and portion standards.
- Being diligent in monitoring quality to ensure Hi-Line sells the best products possible.
- Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials.
- Scheduling kitchen staff shifts.
- Monitoring inventory and preparing orders to be submitted.
- Maintain and comply with sanitation and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment.
- Perform visual quality inspections on products, minimize waste where possible.
- Be able to effectively train other kitchen staff.
- Have the ability to handle any situation with patience and professionalism

- Know the Montana cannabis industy’s legal rules and guidelines as they pertain to your job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- State-issued registered Agent Card required
- Age 18
- At least three years of experience in a production-style kitchen.
- Experience with Metrc preferred
- Experience with processing cannabis or other botanicals preferred.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Available to work 30-40 hours per week; including weekends.
- Flexible schedule.
- Reliable transportation.
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs / stand for long periods of time.
