THE POSITION
The Executive Search Consultant is an integral part of our search team. They are responsible for recruiting, assessing, and presenting high-level professionals to our biotech client partners. Successful Executive Search Consultants approach potential candidates not only to evaluate their interest in and suitability for specific roles, but, more importantly, to build meaningful relationships that grow over time. We do our best work by getting to know the top biopharma professionals, and by understanding their careers and ambitions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop an understanding of the drug development process from discovery to commercialization, as well as the business of biotech
Draft position descriptions, presentation materials, client profiles and other search-related documents
Attend and contribute to client update meetings and calls
Participate in regular team meetings regarding the status of each search
Keep abreast of developments and trends within the life sciences industry to provide the sharpest possible insights to clients
Document efforts and update profiles in Invenias, our CRM database
Outreach via email, text messages, social media, and phone calls to connect with target candidates
Conduct screening interviews with potential candidates
Analyze the suitability of potential candidates for specific roles
Leverage recruiting tools to identify potential candidates
Continuously seek opportunities to engage and develop relationships with high-quality biopharma leaders
Attend industry-specific networking events and conferences
Work collaboratively with other members of the search team to ensure excellence in all aspects of our work
WHO YOU ARE
To thrive in the search consultant role, you should have the following mix of personal and professional characteristics :
Bachelors degree, masters degree preferred.
Passion for connecting people to top-tier career opportunities using your deep service-oriented mentality
Analytical focus and self-motivation to identify the ideal candidates for every opportunity
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to connect instantly with direct outreach to scientific and medical professionals
The ability to solve problems creatively
High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity, and sound judgment
Exceptional work ethic
The ability to prioritize among multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
A background in life sciences and or / recruiting is helpful but not required
Prior experience using Invenias, Salesforce or other CRM is valued but not required
Knowledge of EOS preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar software.
