Position Summary:
The Higgins Lake Campground is seeking a Guest Services Specialist who strives to create a memorable welcome, a smooth stay, and a warm farewell for every guest. You will assist with check-in and check-out, respond to inquiries, support on-site events, and curate meaningful interactions to ensure guests’ satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Reservation Management: Process reservations, payments, cancellations, and re-bookings with accuracy.
- Sales and Reservations: Handle incoming inquiries and convert them into confirmed reservations through phone, email, and chat.
- Warmly greet and welcome guests, supporting check-in, check-out, and accommodation assignments.
- Guest Assistance: Help guests select accommodations and services that match their preferences, upselling when appropriate.
- Assist with guest requests, including on-site needs and local recommendations.
- Proactively resolve guest complaints and facilitate re-bookings.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Revenue Maximization: Use sales techniques to upsell additional services and exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and guest-facing areas.
- Oversee store & sales inventory
- Food Service: Scoop Ice Cream and Prepare Food (pizza, lemonade, and wings)
This position will see food services handling such is scoop ice cream and pizza sales.

Requirements:
- A passion for customer service.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales or customer service role.
- Tech-savvy with experience using cloud-based systems and Google Suite.
- Availability to work weekends (Thursday-Monday).
- Strong sales, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in the outdoor hospitality industry or related field is a plus
- Resides within driving distance of The Higgins Lake Campground in Roscommon MI
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
