The Architectural designer is responsible for drawing production within the firm's established drawing standards under the direction of the Project Architect. This includes application of a high degree of design and technical skills, an understanding of building code compliance, building constructability.
Responsibilities :
- Assimilate written project basis of design direction, detailed drawings, and verbal / written instructions to perform assigned tasks.
- Responsible for drawing production utilizing Revit
- Coordinate with the design team including outside design firms, and inside resources
- Prepare scale drawings and contract documents for bidding to general contractors, while ensuring standards are met
- Responsible for performing assigned tasks in a timely manner, within the budgeted hours, as assigned by the Project Architect
- Assist the Project Architect with assessing project submittals and shop drawings for compliance with the construction documents
- Provide input on code research
- Experience with Accessibility Standards and implementing the requirements within the project documents
