We are seeking an experienced Buyer / Expediter (Procurement Assistant) to join our dynamic team in Lancaster, PA. In this role, you are responsible for purchasing, expediting, and monitoring the status of productions materials and services supporting manufacturing needs.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Raw material purchasing nd operations support to maintain inventory at planned levels to achieve the production schedule.
- Perform tasks involved in the formation, administration / expediting and delivery of purchase orders.
- Communicate with suppliers and personnel within the company to establish a clear definition of requirements and assure performance to purchase order terms and conditions.
- In this "hands-on" role, expect to work directly with inventory control, production, engineering and other departments to fulfill job responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND / OR EDUCATION REQUIRED :
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND / OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED :
This position reports to the VP of Purchasing, Inventory and System Implementation.
