High Steel Structures is one of the largest steel fabricators in North America. The company produces steel superstructures for bridges, including some of the most iconic structures in the nation. The company also supplies girders and weldments for construction and industrial applications.
We are actively seeking an experienced Coating Specialists to join our 1st shift team! Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7AM-3:30PM.
Coating Specialists/Painters are responsible for performing various tasks to prepare metal surfaces; apply standard finishes to machined parts as directed by blueprints and job requirements; sanding; and ensuring pieces are prepared for inspection and shipping.
Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required
- Industrial painting/coatings experience desired.
- The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments desired
- Ability to apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members
