What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Grounds Maintenance position at The High Companies?
High Associates is searching for Grounds Maintenance Associates to join the property services team. The successful candidate(s) will provide a pleasant outdoor environment by maintaining the overall appearance of the landscaping and grounds.
Starting Rate: $16.50/hr. and can increase based upon previous experience. This is a part-time position working 2 - 3 days per week. Hours scheduled per week may vary.
Responsibilities for our grounds maintenance include:
- Completing all grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Operating and maintaining equipment.
- Expanding identification of plants and weeds.
- Edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, mowing, watering, weeding, and leaf clean-up.
- Assisting with snow/ice removal, as required. This will include Saturday & Sundays when it snows on those days.
- Safely using company vehicles and equipment by adhering to company standards.
- Abiding by all company and safety policies and procedures.
Our next co-worker will possess the following work and educational requirements:
- Valid PA driver's license is required!
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Previous grounds maintenance/landscaping experience, preferred but not required
- The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service
