High Steel Structures LLC is currently looking for a Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

The Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager at High Steel Structures will be responsible to plan, organize and control engineering and maintenance operations to provide safe and efficient facilities management and manufacturing equipment. The Manager will lead, manage and work with the Maintenance personnel in achieving business objectives. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred
- Previous management experience required
- Demonstrated competence in leading craft personnel
- Proven skills in determining equipment specifications, maintenance and installation needs
- The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
- Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills required with the ability to build and maintain relationships and interact effectively with other departments
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage the work of department staff on a daily basis to accomplish objectives as required, including preventive maintenance of equipment and maintenance of facilities.
- Establish and execute short and long term engineering / maintenance plans addressing equipment requirements, method improvements and utility / energy efficiency in keeping with continuous improvements projects and manufacturing objectives.
- Prepare appropriation requests and other materials for management review.
- Coordinate communications with the Safety, Health and Environmental Department and provide information as required to comply with government regulations and company standards.
- Responsible for managing capital projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and SAP applications preferred.
- Keep abreast of the industry in order to be aware of new methods, equipment, etc., relative to the fabrication industry and energy conservation.
- Attend various meetings, training seminars and special courses, etc. as directed by the VP of Operations.
