We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic team in Williamsport, PA.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Proactively ensure a high level of product quality.
- Provide the leadership to ensure that HSSL quality standards are maintained.
- Work with Fabrication department management to ensure ongoing quality standards and problem resolution.
- Coordinate with outside inspectors, working together to meet the customer's requirements.
- Responsible for developing, updating and administering visual and coatings inspection, non-destructive testing procedures and practices.
- Manage QC workloads, scheduling, procedures and audits.
- Address fabrication quality deficiencies.
- Maintain plant certifications.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in fabrication inspection.
- Previous progressive supervisory experience required, preferably in steel fabrication.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering Management, Quality Control or related major preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND/OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- Level II certification in Radiography (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) preferred.
- Level II certification in Phased-Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) preferred.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required.
- NACE Level I or III certification (Coatings) preferred.
