What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Enrichment Assistant position at The Highlands at Pittsford?
The Life Enrichment Assistant will assist with planning, implementing, facilitating, and promoting activities to enrich the quality of life for our residents. The primary focus will be on providing programs and events that encourage engagement and socialization throughout our Laurelwood Assisted Living & Laurel Way Memory Care community. Familiarity with Alzheimer’s/ Dementia, is a plus! A love and willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role.
Other responsibilities would include, but not limited to:
- Assisting in the creation of activities designed to meet the individualized needs of our residents.
- Create and develop programs that meet the individualized needs of the resident population
- Brainstorm event and activity ideas with other team members
- Set up and break down needed materials before and after programs
- Assist in resident outings
- Track resident attendance and participation
- Look for ways to enhance programs. Creativity needed.
- Provides information to the Director of Life Enrichment regarding the resident engagement to assist with the development of a personalized care plan.
Pay: $16.50hr – $23.50per hour
